The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems, and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs.
Platform Product Owner for E-Delivery is responsible for defining, developing and managing a programmatic approach to a scalable global solution. This includes working closely with software development team to drive technical design, last mile delivery solutions, tracking and visibility, returns, integration with upstream & downstream systems, etc. This will eventually lead into working closely with partner team to drive best possible delivery solution for Maersk. In this strategic and customer-centric role, you will work with global leaders, solutions, product, and technology teams and drive business outcomes like accelerating implementation timelines, reducing issues, driving transparency and accountability across teams, and more. You will also be required to build a high-performing team that can help scale the business.
Responsibilities
- Define the e-delivery product offering at Global level and translate it to a data driven operational plan.
- Define the platform’s customer centric KPI’s and build a closed loop mechanism to monitor and report on these.
- Own and manage the e-delivery technology, which is critical part of e-commerce logistics team.
- Work with one or more distributed engineering teams.
-Ability to think in structured and stepwise manner from creating MVP pilot test version to scalable solution and then driving optimization solutions via technology upgrades.
- Build partnerships with technology leaders and with a large-scale global technology organization to build cutting edge software solutions that enhance customer experience, launch market-leading products and solutions to create sustainable competitive advantage.
- Partner with regional leaders to prioritize customer opportunities, provide platform advisory, and resolution of issues.
- Lead end-to-end technical solution designs for Maersk Logistics & Services working backwards from customer requirements, while standardizing and modernizing our solutions.
- Strive to introduce new capabilities offered by the E-Commerce Logistics (ECL) platform in the future
- Manage the demand, pipeline, and priorities for the ECL applications’ configuration and changes required for onboarding new customers working closely with engineering teams & Drive arbitrage discussions, when resource capacity, timelines, or technical capabilities are not matching
- Align with other platforms to make sure we align end-to-end solution design across platforms, the feasibility of the solution and the overall delivery timelines.
- Provide insights and learnings regarding opportunity profile trends and customer demand, that could have an impact on the roadmap.
What we expect you to bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner.
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, e-Commerce or a similar field (preference, not mandatory).
- Used to lead Product Teams (PM + Engineers + Designer) and managing business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
