The Svitzer EcoTow team is looking for a commercially driven EcoTow Growth Manager to be responsible for identifying, prioritising, and developing growth opportunities while continuously harvesting, condensing, and communicating customer insights across the product team and Svitzer organisation.

This entails direct and regular engagement with, and listening to, customers and stakeholders, to understand and uncover customer pain points, identify customer needs to continuously develop scale and our product.

As our EcoTow Growth Manager, you love getting out of the building and meeting customers. You get energised by finding the right value proposition to meet our customer needs, and you believe that listening to understand is more important than talking to sell. You are a deal closer, and a relationship developer and you have deep curiosity for our customers’ businesses and passion for sustainable solutions. You will play a key part in our small product team – representing the voice of the customer and empowering the team to continuously improve our unique selling points and go-to-market strategy. You know how to prepare an amazing proposal that addresses exactly what our customer needs – or didn’t even know they needed until now!

Svitzer EcoTow is a rapidly expanding decarbonisation focused towage product which was created out of a commercial innovation initiative. The EcoTow team works with ports and customers worldwide to offer innovative solutions.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Driving customer growth: Segmenting and prioritising the customer opportunities to create a pipeline for scaling and differentiation.

  • Building a Commercial Hub: Connecting and empowering the commercial community to allow building the go-to-market excitement and capability internally so we can scale and learn faster.


  • Collecting customer insights: Through regular face to face meetings with customers, you can connect customer insight to market developments and opportunities and ensure relevant insights are shared across the commercial team.

  • Winning new business: You ensure delivery of winning proposals on time and as per defined strategy through collaboration with Svitzer’s commercial team.

  • Solutions development: Your regularly engage with customers and stakeholders to facilitate development of unique value propositions rooted in customers’ needs, pain points and key requirements.

  • Commercial Anchor: You bring together commercial analytics, market intelligence and pricing proposals for EcoTow, equipping and empowering local sales team to drive sales. And you can step in to support as needed.
