JOB TITLE – Head of NGP Product Development
LOCATION – Denmark – Assens or Svendborg
HOURS – 37.5
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of NGP Product Development, you will lead the team responsible for the development and industrialization of new products and packaging concepts in the NGP category. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, strategic vision, and operational leadership to accelerate speed-to-market, ensure compliance, and optimize resources across multi-location development processes.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Product Development Leadership:
· Lead the NGP product and packaging development process from ideation through industrialization.
· Oversee sensory panel testing to ensure consumer satisfaction and adherence to STG’s quality standards.
Operational Efficiency & Innovation:
· Optimize processes, reduce complexity, and streamline technology upgrades for improved speed-to-market.
· Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings through portfolio simplification and sourcing reallocations.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
· Ensure compliance with global legal and regulatory requirements for NGP products throughout the product lifecycle.
· Partner with the Legal department for IP screening and patent work.
ESG & Sustainability Integration:
· Incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the NGP development process.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
· Oversee and empower cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and operational excellence.
· Foster collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to ensure seamless NPD execution.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED?
· Proven experience in product development, preferably in NGP products such as nicotine pouches, or similar.
· Strong technical proficiency with a deep understanding of scientific principles in product development.
· Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and driving NPD from concept to commercialization.
· Knowledge of IP, regulatory compliance, and ESG standards.
· Creativity, outside the box thinking and a strong innovative driven mind.
