We are looking for a passionate leader to head the Core and Advisory Management unit within Banking. As Head of Core and Advisory, you will be overall responsible for developing and leading the organization that consists of about 230 people located primarily in Oslo and Pune India. This implies developing Tietoevry Banking’s position and image in the industry as well as growing the business unit’s market share. Our customers are all the major Nordic banks and some of the largest international banks with branches in UK.

Built on modern and advanced architecture, our core banking solutions offer a comprehensive set of capabilities, that includes flexible product factories, extensive parameterization, product bundling and reusable business components to help accelerate growth. With real-time processing engine and simple component replacement, Tietoevry offers the most advanced foundations for digital banking, enabling banks to engage demanding consumers.

We are on a journey towards standardized and industrialized deliveries, and you’ll lead the people and business through the transformation from traditional IT to new innovative services.

The role will have the following responsibilities:

Overall business responsibility for development and maintenance of products within the core banking and advisory areas
Responsible for the Leadership Team agenda and the operating plan
Responsible for managing global unit (covering Product Services, Product Development and Product Management functions for the unit) Teams in Nordics, Europe and India
Responsible for building scalable organization that supports high growth
Responsible for motivating distributed teams towards common agenda
Responsible for change management towards transformation initiatives (process, people and business related)
Development and utilization follow up
Development of new initiatives and offerings
Ensure overall customer and quality KPIs are met
Cost and revenue follow up on product level
Responsible for deliveries and projects related to the product suite
Responsible for farming and add-on sales and contract fulfillment

We expect you to have:

Experience from the financial sector
Eagerness for high quality, business growth and profit
Experience from working with driving change in a changing climate
Problem solving & decision making ability.
Excellent social, co-operation and networking skills
Experience in product development
Excellent in written and spoken English
University degree in computer science, information technology or economics
