About the role
We are looking for a Site HSE Manager to support Site HSE Advisors & Permit department, and join our team of 41 passionate HSE & Permit professionals, where the majority are working in Kalundborg. As a team, we are working on improving the health, safety & environments at our construction site and eliminating all unsafe work, simultaneously with we constantly aiming for maturing mindset and awareness towards a strong Safety Culture.
Your role will be key in securing close cooperation with Senior managers to support and facilitate the Site HSE & Permit needs within constructions projects. This will include acting as a role model and mentor for younger members of your team, engaging employees in optimizing processes and creating a culture of a mature and healthy Safety Culture - without compromising on the human aspect of leadership.

As a Site HSE Manager, you’ll:
- Implement World Class Safety roll-out together with line manager and in good cooperation with NN & site HSE leads and constructions VP
- Develop and implement a Safety mindset training program in cooperation with line manager
- Participate in and support serious investigation of any incident/near miss with high potential to ensure that remedial actions have been agreed and carried out.
- Execute and act on the requirements from the Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) and ensure that contractors are working accordingly to these
- Lead, support, and develop a team of skilled employees, including one-to-one and daily support (principle of present)
- Ensure pipeline of competent team members is maintained, and developed in close cooperation with HSE, management, HSE Leads and VP project area

The miles you’ve walked

- Experience with leading teams and formal education in leadership
- Formal education within incident investigation (e.g. Taproot etc.)
- Experience with facilitating training within HSE topics
- 5-10 years HSE experience in construction or similar Industries such as Wind, Oil and Gas etc.
- Experienced in and comfortable with using Outlook and Microsoft Office services
- Mandatory “Danish Arbejdsmiljø uddalse” / AMK-P/B 5days course and OSO 9001,14001 and 45001 is appreciated.
- Fluency in English both in writing and orally as English is our corporate language. Speaking and writing Danish is an advantage.
