Do you have commercial acumen, solid operational insight, and a strong hands-on attitude? Do you enjoy developing and managing selected international customers in a rapidly growing market through relationships, trust, and long-term cooperation? And can you help set the strategic direction for sales to the wind industry through a structured, proactive sales effort and strong customer orientation? Then we have the perfect job for you as Head of Sales at Vento Energy Support. You will report to the CEO and work from the head office in Ringkøbing, with flexibility to occasionally work from home.
Value-based solution selling
You will play a central role in building and maintaining relationships with both existing and new customers in the European onshore wind service market. You will be responsible for the entire sales process – from the first contact to project delivery. You will lead customer dialogue and negotiations, ensure alignment on scope, pricing, and expectations, and review and coordinate contracts, including framework agreements and project-specific terms. You will work closely with internal departments on tender preparation and ensure a smooth handover from sales to operations. The responsibilities include commercial development and successful positioning of onshore site management as well as services within existing wind turbine parks. Core tasks include:
The position involves approximately 15–25 travel days per year for customer visits and partnership meetings across Europe.
Solid project sales experience
You are a commercial sales profile with technical understanding, preferably holding a bachelor’s degree or higher and capable of developing concepts for sales excellence and navigating complex settings. It is crucial that you are commercially minded and possess strong business acumen. You have strong drive and analytical skills and have experience within the wind industry or a related sector. Your presentation skills are excellent, enabling you to motivate colleagues in building compelling offers and delivering convincing presentations in customer meetings. Your ability to ask the right questions ensures that you uncover all aspects of customer needs and sales opportunities. You can interpret contractual conditions and translate them into risk management and calculations, and you have experience with large tender processes. Your success will depend heavily on your trustworthy and solution-oriented sales approach. Personally, you are a strong team player who values good relationships. You are hands-on, outgoing, proactive, persistent, and structured. Finally, you have excellent communication skills and master English at negotiation level.

- Preparing and contributing to tenders in collaboration with Operations and Finance, and following up on project performance and customer satisfaction after handover to operations
- Acting as the main point of contact for your own accounts in Europe, with full ownership from initial contact to project delivery
- Developing the appropriate commercial strategy for your area of responsibility, including must-win battles and action plans, which you translate into concrete initiatives and behaviours supported by relevant KPIs and follow-up
- Leading, developing, and building sales excellence by enabling internal stakeholders to execute the strategy, demonstrating structure and systematic leadership, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience
- Understanding the market and competitors, price points/price management, cost structures, etc., and supporting pricing for both fixed-price and lump-sum projects
- Identifying differentiation in the market and supporting Marketing & Communications with value propositions, communication, cases, and social media strategy
- Identifying suitable projects/customers/OEMs, along with corresponding market and execution plans for each country, including prioritisation, contract negotiations, approvals, and focusing efforts based on value propositions
