About the role
As our new Engineering Data Manager, you will help transform how we manage master data in engineering projects. is on a focused digital journey to enhance digital design, construction, and commissioning, enabling us to deliver larger and more complex pharmaceutical projects.
You will be part of a newly established area called Engineering Model Transformation, and report to the Director driving the development of our Future Engineering Model. The area is responsible for setting direction for ’s digital strategy, AI strategy, and frame the future best practice around our engineering work. The area will shape the basis for creating new and intelligent data driven design models, which will support an even more efficient cross-disciplinary design and faster project execution.
You will play a key leadership role in shaping how data supports and enables engineering across the full value chain. You will be responsible for building and leading a new team focused on creating a strong foundation for digital design, simulation, and testing capabilities.
The position requires that you are based in Denmark or are willing to relocate while you build the department in close corporation with the rest of the management team in the Engineering Model Transformation area.

As our new Engineering Data Manager, you’ll be:
- Building and leading a team that will define how engineering data is structured, governed, and used across disciplines
- Build and support strong collaboration with our colleagues in Bangalore, India
- Identifying and aligning data flows across engineering-design, and project execution to create a coherent view of the engineering value chain
- Defining and evolving a scalable data model that supports integration, consistency, and future digital use cases
- Setting direction for data governance practices to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable data across systems and teams
- Working closely with stakeholders across engineering, digital design, and our global colleagues to ensure alignment and adoption
- Staying informed on trends in digital design and help shape how data can enable smarter, faster, and more integrated ways of working

- Proficient in speaking and writing Danish and English

The miles you’ve walked

- 5+ years of experience as team/department manager, project manager, VDC manager, or another role driving digital transformation initiatives
- Proven experience within pharmaceutical or construction industry, preferably as consultant
- Knowledge about digital tools in the construction industry (Revit, BIM 360, Autodesk products, Dalux etc.)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical industry (GMP and GEP) is desirable but not a requirement
