In this Full Stack Engineer role, you will be working on the Maersk.com platform as part of a newly formed API team based in Copenhagen. You will develop the core capabilities driving Maersk’s public API Developer Portal and will support our business platforms exposing APIs for external consumption.

Key Responsibilities
You will be part of a strong engineering team, shaping product and business decisions to help drive digital transformation at one of the largest companies in the world. Your responsibilities include:
- Build, test and run scalable solutions delivering practical solutions and insights to our customers and partners.
- Deeply understand our customer needs and business problems. Apply your knowledge of technologies to deliver enterprise solutions and outcomes for our customers.
- Work with like-minded platform engineering teams to develop the functionality of our future API-Led initiatives.
- Be able to work end-to-end: design, prototype, implement, test and optimise software, alongside others in a talented and highly engaged team of UX designers, business analysts and software engineers.
- Operate in a scrum team with a dedicated product manager, independently directing your time and resources together with other engineers in the team.
- Contribute to the wider engineering community at Maersk, sustaining and constantly improving processes, culture and technical landscape to ensure we are leading global trade in the next century.
We are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience).
- More than 4 years industry engineering experience, in a software intensive industrial company, as part of an agile software engineering team.
- Experience with building and running customer-facing products with a high availability in the cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Expertise in behaviour driven development and related software.
- Interests in back-end and front-end languages, tools, and platforms such as Java, C#, Spring Boot, Vue, React, EMP.
- Good familiarity with web server applications, web protocols, authentication, authorisation, and logging.
- Experience with designing microservice architectures, APIs (REST, Graph QL, etc.), scaling web sites, performance tuning.
- Having worked with CI/CD such as Azure Devops, Jenkins or Github Actions and the associated infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Someone who is excited about understanding the logistics domain---no prior experience in logistics required, so long as you are committed to learning!
