We are currently looking for a curious and thorough Credit Risk Analyst to join our team in a 1 year fixed contract.

We offer
A super exciting role where you will be a key member of our Risk Department, tasked with identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks.

This role involves formulating risk assessment reports, developing and implementing solutions to minimize negative impacts, and supporting the business by providing risk assessments.

You will monitor credit exposure, optimize credit processes, handle trade finance and insurance to mitigate credit risks in accordance with the organization’s risk appetite.

This role will be based in Copenhagen in a dedicated and fun team.

Key responsibilities
Core Credit Risk: You will be expected to help on credit reviews, approving/rejecting credit limits/terms, monitoring credit risk activities, handling overdue accounts, bankruptcy, and default proceedings. You may be involved in managing external supplier/customer relationships, aligning and updating the credit risk policy, monitoring and managing the credit portfolio, and developing/maintaining an overview for credit metrics and Credit Risk Playbooks.

Reporting: You should be proficient in and documentation. Some python / powerBI or access database management skills would be advantageous. Knowledge of some trading/risk platform would be value-adding.

Trade Finance: You should have a good understanding of trade finance products, including but not limited to SBLCs, PCGs, payment terms. A general understanding of the impact of these collaterals and wording where needed.

Project Management / Process Optimization: You should be able to facilitate the development/improvement of systems for managing credit risks.

Insurance: You should be capable of handling credit insurance policies and insuring tank storage/barges leases.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

As the team operates on a trading desk, there is an expectation that you will be pro-active, have good people skills and manage tight deadline.

You must possess a resilient can-do attitude and be able to navigate in a complex and vibrant environment.
