Smørum

The Hardware Engineer develops and tests electronic solutions for multiple sensing applications, systems, machines, devices and appliances offering a unique challenge in acheiving optimal performance from resource constrained devices.-

General Responsibilities

  • Participates in the design and development of equipment processes and systems that may include data networks, communications, and display
  • Consults with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems
  • Assists with the maintenance of technical procedures, documentation and manuals
  • May assist technicians and technologists who provide technical support


Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree)
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Hard Ware engineer for a battery based green energy future

Lithium Balance develops Li-ion battery management systems (BMS) to control and monitor the increasingly powerful and complex batteries of the future green energy sector. We are growing rapidly and need several new key employees to develop and produce new generations of battery management systems for batteries in cars, trains, motorcycles and solar panel energy storage.

Hard Ware design engineer:

The Hard Ware department at Lithium Balance is looking for a Hard Ware design engineer to develop the Battery Management systems of the future.

You will work close together with our test, system, and Software team to ensure that the entire measuring chain is taken into account.

The main tasks are to design BMS systems, describe and carry out functional tests on board level and BMS system level.

We have a dynamic team that takes pride in ensuring high quality products and ensuring that the documentation is clear.

All documentation at Lithium Balance is written in English.

You will be part of a hardware and test team with quick decision-making paths and participation. We work in project teams to ensure a good and open dialogue, because we believe that together we will achieve better results.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant will have most of the qualifications below:

  • A basic education as electronic engineer or similar.
  • Several years of experience in designing analogue electronics, power supply design, microprocessor design.
  • You must be able to describe your designs in an easy-to-understand way, and you must be able to test/validate your designs at board and system level.
  • Knowledge of Altium is an advantage
  • We design many products for the automotive industry, and our level of documentation is therefore high, so knowledge or experience from the automotive industry or similar is an advantage.
