You will be part of ’s Corporate IT Department
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer who will join our Corporate IT team in Denmark, Copenhagen. You will be working together within a team of 20 people both locally and globally. We strive to provide solutions to the highest security standard for our Internal IT solutions.
You'll play a pivotal role in fortifying our internal cybersecurity postures, leveraging your knowledge of various cybersecurity governance frameworks and legislations. Furthermore, you’ll be crucial for developing the cyber area making your mark in .
We are operating a modern Microsoft cloud platform with almost no legacy systems. This means that we will be able to utilize the newest tools and features from Microsoft.
We will support your development of further skills or where they need to be supplemented to meet the demand of the daily job.
Your Qualifications: As an experienced cloud security professional, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as analyst, operation engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies or similar experience at other platforms.
- Certifications such as CISSP,CCSP, CCSK, CCZT, CompTIA Security+, or relevant GIAC are highly desirable together with Microsoft Cloud specific certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Your Responsibilities:
Security event Monitoring and Response:
- Monitor security alerts and events using Sentinel
- Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Conduct analysis of security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Threat Detection:
- Utilize advanced threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Assist in development and implementation of detection rules and signatures to enhance threat detection capabilities.
Security Operations:
- Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure the timely resolution of security incidents.
- Work closely with incident response teams to contain and eradicate security threats.
- Document and maintain incident response procedures and guidelines.
- Generate regular reports on security incidents, trends, and analysis for management review.
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Provide recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in regular security awareness training and continuous professional development.
- Contribute to the enhancement of SOC processes, procedures, and technologies.
