We offer both shorter and longer-term positions and are open to both new graduates and more experienced colleagues. A professional qualification or relevant work experience is a requirement.
We are looking for chefs to join various teams, as we are divided into different teams during the peak season:
Although we work in different groups with different areas, collaboration and cohesion across teams are important.
The breakfast menu changes daily and is served both as table service and buffet, depending on the season and the number of guests. This provides ample opportunity for a diverse menu. Lunch is à la carte, and the menu changes throughout the year based on seasonal ingredients and the kitchen's creativity. The evening restaurant offers a combination of a fixed menu and à la carte, adjusted continuously to align with the lunch menu.
The requiring theme in cuisine is that we draw inspiration from the beautiful nature surrounding us, and, whenever possible, use locally sourced ingredients from local farmers and produce, such as Marken and Skovfryd. Our style draws heavily upon the Nordic/French kitchen in a gourmet/bistro style. We pickle and ferment different ingredients during the spring and summer so that we can also offer local produce in the autumn and winter months.
We can offer a mature, dynamic, and competent team at one of Bornholm's best hotels with a stunning location. We work hard when needed and always maintain a good atmosphere and camaraderie. We provide accommodation near the hotel, salary based on qualifications, and there are tax benefits for working on Bornholm.
