Are you enthusiastic about creating a green and sustainable future? If yes, you might be the person we are looking for! Apply now and join us in Vestas on our journey towards a world powered by sustainable energy.

People & Culture Global Talent Management Global Learning & Development

Vestas is a global leader in sustainable energy solutions - a growing and fast-changing industry that requires us to continuously develop our colleagues in terms of their organizational capabilities and behaviours.

You would be joining our Global Learning & Development (L&D) team where we focus on establishing an inclusive learning culture where all our colleagues can continuously develop and reach their full potential. One of our core development programmes is the Global Commercial Development (GCD) and this is the programme that you would oversee and coordinate. In an ever-transforming industry, the GCD programme is comprised of training, workshops, coaching, mentoring, and commercial leadership forums to enable our skilled commercial colleagues to:

  • Understand our products (what we sell) how we sell and to whom
  • Accelerate the transition from product sales to solution and insight-based sales through targeted development activities to stay ahead in the increasingly complex industry.
  • Synthesize commercial insights to create tailor-made messages that create an impact for our customers and lead sales back to Vestas.
  • Define what good commercial skills and behaviours look like by integrating research and best practices in the continuous evolution of the Commercial Value Wheel.
  • Improve our performance

In this part-time administrative role (22 hours/week), you would be responsible for the coordination and management of the GCD programme. While you would be a part of our L&D team, your main interactions would be with the international vendors, whom you would manage, and our skilled commercial colleagues, who are located across the world and stretch across all corporate levels.

This position is to be based out of Aarhus though working hybrid/remotely is an option. You will be joining our diverse team of seven amazing and fun people who are currently in the process of redefining L&D for Vestas. We would be excited to have you onboard.

  • Manage, create, and optimize processes that lead to a better user experience for the GCD learners but also all other stakeholders, and prepare GCD result reports on a quarterly and annual basis so that team results can be showcased easily and assist with vendor management and day-to-day L&D operations.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to increase awareness of the learning program's offerings within the organization and address their current needs and collaborating with our learning administration team to properly implement offerings into our learning management platform.
  • Meeting with learning vendors to schedule and evaluate the available offerings.
  • Utilizing data related to learning offerings (e.g., participant lists and survey results) to generate comprehensive overviews, and reports, and measure the success of the program.
  • Creating and managing a community to foster engagement within the program's target audience; managing and updating the program's internal webpage with a customer-centric approach; and controlling and managing the budget of the learning program, making informed purchasing decisions.
  • (Once you are more established in your role) monitor the web for new developments and interesting material in relation to Commercial Development, Sales Enablement, complex B2B sales and many other topics related with commercial transformation. Convert to insights that can be shared with the Sales community in Vestas.

Qualifications

  • You are comfortable with and confident in your interactions with a diverse crowd of internal stakeholders across all corporate levels (incl., SVPs) and nationalities
  • Vendor management experience (or complex stakeholder management)
  • You have a very high level of spoken and written English
  • An educational background or experience that fits this role

Competencies

  • Very strong comprehension, presentation, and influence skills and ability to manage a fast pace and fast-learning work environment
  • Thrives in working with people from diverse regions and backgrounds
  • High resilience, capacity to deal with ambiguity and manage fast chance
  • High sense of urgency, able to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
  • Commercial and customer-centric mindset - focus on opportunity and customer needs (both internal stakeholders and external customers)
