Gubra is looking for a Laboratory Technician to support our 3D Imaging team, consisting of a competent and dedicated team of laboratory technicians and research scientists working with preclinical imaging. Are you experienced with 3D imaging? Do you enjoy learning new things? If so, now you have the opportunity to come and work in a fast-paced modern laboratory with cutting-edge technology.
At Gubra we develop new drugs and offer contract research services to diverse international pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The 3D Imaging department is made of a team of scientists, lab technicians and students. We are driven by passion for science, value collaboration and helping each other. We use custom-built sample handling robots and high-end 3D light sheet microscopes for identifying drug targets and the mode of action of novel drugs.
We are looking for a lab technician who is interested in working with preclinical samples and sample handling robots. You will primarily work in the laboratory, preparing the samples for imaging using diverse immunohistochemistry, RNA detection and tissue clearing methods. You will be provided training in the above methods and in operating microscopes. You will work closely together with scientists in developing new imaging methods.
The ideal candidate is therefore good at collaborating and communicating, is helpful and sets high standards for the quality of his or her work. Our working days can be busy, and you must therefore be able to thrive in the fact that tasks can change at short notice and be willing to help when and where needed.

Professional qualifications
- You have education as a laboratory technician (laborant/bioanalytiker).
- Experience with handling tissue samples (i.e. from industry, academia or hospitals).
- Have experience in preparing diverse buffers.
- Are skilled within keeping track of laboratory workflow and the status of samples across multiple studies and experiments.
Personal qualification
- You value teamwork and open communication.
- Have a good eye for detail and are well organized.
- You have a high standard for quality
- Enjoy learning new methods.
- Feel comfortable with working with technology and software.
