We are searching for a Senior Program Manager

This position is based at our office in Roskilde or Warsaw and you will join our Product Management team. The team oversees our product vision and program execution in the domain Shared Platforms & DevOps.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to spearhead our strategic initiative aimed at opening our datacenter using Apache Kafka to produce and consume events. This high-profile program requires exceptional stakeholder management skills and an understanding of event-driven architectures.

The role offers a great opportunity to lead one of bec’s most important initiatives towards a more modern and scalable setup, where data is available and ready to be consumed by our customers and partners.

At bec, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Michael Ager Carlsen.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder management (20%)
  • Planning and coordinating with teams (20%)
  • Reporting and preparing presentations (20%)
  • Communication (20%)
  • Close collaboration with
    • Technical teams
    • Architects
    • Product organization
    • Customers
    • Service Partners
    • Finance
    • Directors

  • Very limited travel if based in Roskilde otherwise expect 10 per year.

To succeed you will have:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Program management experience
  • Essential tech competencies preferred but not a must
    • Event driven architecture
