Fortunately, the customers like our solutions, so we are searching for a Product Manager to join our Group Marketing team in Odense, Denmark.
As our Product Manager, you will have the chance to contribute to major changes impacting the entire business organization and help us to further improve product development.
You will gather customer insights through customer interviews and sales analyses. These insights will increase your ability to understand users’ needs and wants as well as customers’ pain points contributing to improving product development.
Further, your key tasks and responsibilities include:
You will engage and cooperate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Hence, you will build relationships across the organization in order to improve product development.
You have a minimum of 3 years of product management experience. You see yourself as a marketeer and hold a degree in business, design, engineering, or similar. Preferably you currently work as a Product Manager in a global company and can demonstrate a solid track record within this area.
Furthermore, you:
Above all, you are proactive, have a strong drive, and a desire to create changes that impact and improve the entire business and make a difference for the outdoor play of children and outdoor fitness of the grownup children.
You will become part of our Group Marketing team, a team of more than 25 people, where we, in close collaboration with leading dimensions within KOMPAN, work on marketing and product development.
KOMPAN’s purpose is to help our customers create healthier and happier communities and has done so since 1970. We are market leaders in delivering state-of-the-art playground and fitness sites. We design, produce, and install more than 1,000 playground and fitness areas each month across 90 countries.
Our products and solutions are based on research conducted together with universities to develop play that stimulates children of different age groups and fitness that maximizes the fitness effect of grownup children. Our products have a strong Scandinavian design DNA and are based on the design of many designers and architects. We make sure that they will look great for decades and can stand the test of weather and daily usage by using material of the highest possible quality.

Product manage new and innovative outdoor play for the children of the world
Fortunately, the customers like our solutions, so we are searching for a Product Manager to join our Group Marketing team in Odense, Denmark.
As our Product Manager, you will have the chance to contribute to major changes impacting the entire business organization and help us to further improve product development.
You will gather customer insights through customer interviews and sales analyses. These insights will increase your ability to understand users’ needs and wants as well as customers’ pain points contributing to improving product development.
Further, your key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Product portfolio management; responsible for selected product innovation pipelines.
- Gathering customer insights through customer interviews and sales analyses.
- Product conceptualizing into product development ideas based on insights and research from universities.
- Product managing the product development process through the stage gate process.
- Product Launches; Preparing sales tools and briefing the marketing communication team.
- Training; preparing and performing induction training and E-learning.
- Tracking product performance; for revitalization and for pruning.
- Maintain Product Data; collect and consolidate data from different stakeholders.
You will engage and cooperate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Hence, you will build relationships across the organization in order to improve product development.
Make a difference with your great communication and product management skills
You have a minimum of 3 years of product management experience. You see yourself as a marketeer and hold a degree in business, design, engineering, or similar. Preferably you currently work as a Product Manager in a global company and can demonstrate a solid track record within this area.
Furthermore, you:
- Are an excellent facilitator with the ability to conduct training with many participants, including stakeholders from different organizational levels.
- Are a team player and have strong stakeholder management skills enabling you to build relations both in our Sales, Product Innovation, and IT departments as well as with senior management at the Group level.
- Have solid cooperation and communication skills enabling you to understand users’ needs and wants as well as customers’ pain points.
- Communicate fluently in English.
