Lead Consumer-driven Strategies to Transform Obesity Care at [xxxxx]!Are you a strategic visionary in patient and consumer marketing within health, ready to influence the obesity landscape? [xxxxx] is seeking a Director to set the strategic direction for [xxxxx]’s global strategy for our engagement with People with Obesity (PwO). This role is your chance to join a passionate and purpose driven team and take charge in defining superior global consumer engagement strategies in this transformative area of Obesity.About the Role:Reporting to the CVP of Strategic Marketing Obesity, you will set the overall strategic direction, evaluate the strategic playing field and, together with senior management in both HQ and Operations, decide the role of [xxxxx] in this important therapy area. Your primary focus will be to develop and drive our future engagement strategy & ambition within Obesity mid-and long term for People Living with Obesity (PwO). You will set global strategic PwO direction, and drive and evolve the omnichannel approach in obesity.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Insights Development: Lead the establishment of a forward-looking consumer insights function that aligns with the overall PwO strategy. Utilize market intelligence and consumer insights to inform and shape our strategic marketing roadmap, ensuring we anticipate and address the evolving needs of the obesity market.
  • Mid-Long-Term Patient and Consumer Engagement Strategy: Develop and articulate a comprehensive engagement strategy that prioritizes the needs and support of individuals throughout their obesity journey. Create a narrative that positions [xxxxx] as a trusted partner, enhancing long-term relationships with PwO.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals who are focused on strategic impact. Foster a collaborative environment that draws on best practices from both FMCG and healthcare, driving innovation and strategic thinking throughout the organization.
  • Who You Are:We are looking for a strong marketing strategic leader with:
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in the FMCG health sector working with consumer health products.
  • Strong international marketing background, capable of navigating complex organizational landscapes.
  • A relevant master’s degree in business, media, marketing, or communications.
  • A deep understanding of strategic marketing, consumer segmentation, engagement, and long-term planning within the health space.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and commercial skills, alongside fluency in English.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Marketing experience that bridges the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries.
