If you have a broad experience in developing financial policies and process optimization and are an experienced Project/Programme Manager in global ERP implementation with the ability to lead and develop a team of specialists in financial policies and processes and Global ERP system, you might be the one we are looking for. You will work closely with your colleagues to create great results in a senior management role with a high level of influence and cross organizational collaboration.

Who are we?

The FRISC (Finance, Supply Chain and Risk) Department is one of the core support departments in DRC. Based in the Headquarters, it consists of around 75 talented and engaged colleagues who are responsible for

DRC’s financial and supply chain affairs globally in close cooperation with the operational departments. The department is overall led by the Executive Director – FRISC (CFO) and 6 other managers who lead the individual teams in the department.

DRC introduced a new global ERP system in 2019, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (internally called DRC Dynamics). The ERP system launch led to constant effort for further implementation, support, and optimization; and prompted the need for review and further development of finance policies and processes. The Finance Policies, Processes and Tools team leads the efforts associated both with ERP further implementation and finance policies and processes development and implementation.

About the job

The role has two different focus areas: firstly the global ERP solution (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O) where you will be responsible for ensuring a set-up that meets the needs of DRC now and in the future; and secondly the global framework of finance policies and processes where you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial policies and processes. You will lead a group of financial specialists and ERP system experts, while being a valuable member of the FRISC management team.

Strategy setting and implementation of high standards global digital tools

You will be responsible for leading the development of the strategy for the global ERP system involving our Executive Management Team as well as a range of key stakeholders across DRC’s operations worldwide. You will facilitate the ERP Governance Structure, drive the target setting efforts and programme manage their implementation. You will ensure continuous benefits realization, while taking the lead on

communication efforts and structuring capacity building across global business processes.

Leading the optimization and streamlining of financial policies and process

As Head of Finance Policies, Processes and Tools, you will be responsible for maintaining and

optimizing a complete set of global finance policies covering both operational and corporate areas in

line with our ERP system standards. You will also take charge in ensuring that an extensive set of

finance processes are streamlined to best support effective and efficient project implementation.

Liaising with key organizational stakeholders, you will further lead the overall implementation and communication of new policies and processes, while supporting the capacity building of relevant target groups.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

Required

  • University degree or equivalent within a relevant area
  • 3-5 years’ experiences with the development of financial policies as well as process optimization
  • Minimum 3 years’ solid experiences working with programme management and ERP systems
  • Minimum 3 years’ well documented experiences in leadership and/or change management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Danish, French, Spanish or Arabic
  • Good knowledge of and experience working in Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) ERP Solution
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector and knowledge of DRCs operating model
  • Experience in process optimization, e.g., LEAN

We offer

Contract length: permanent contract, full time 37h per week

Work place: DRC HQ, Borgergade 10, Copenhagen, Denmark

Start date: as soon as possible.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and Lederaftalen

(Management agreement). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
