What’s in it for you? As our new Senior SAP Basis Architect, you will become part of our SAP Platforms team within Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI). Here we are to focus on designing the S/4HANA implementation but also future proof and design the operation of our other 10 SAP Platforms. This new position will also give you a unique opportunity to work with skilled SAP colleagues across departments and teams. You will also be involved in our S/4HANA journey. You will therefore have a great opportunity to engage with different stakeholders in Novo Nordisk to broaden the understanding of SAP basis and identify automation opportunities. As part of your new team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, improving, and operating SAP Basis and SAP infrastructure on our SAP Platforms. We will perform process automation for our business areas and identify areas for improvement by means of automation. You will help ensure that our vendors can provide a 24/7 stable and efficient operational set-up with automated deployment and monitoring of our SAP Platforms. As a Senior SAP Basis Architect, you will also become part of driving an automation agenda across our SAP platforms. What we are looking for For this role, we imagine that you have a minimum of 7 years of experience with SAP Basis, where you have worked with SAP Basis operation set-up and experience with architecting infrastructure for SAP Basis. In addition, we see that our new colleague will be able to tick most of the following: • Worked with a HANA database • Familiar with Pharma regulated SAP Platforms • Familiar with operating Sarbox critical SAP platforms • Familiar with security in SAP content e.g., security setting/hardening in SAP • Worked with automation e.g., for system copies using templating • Experience with monitoring tools for SAP Platforms From ECC to S/4HANA At Novo Nordisk, we are embarking on a digital transformational journey through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, where we are revitalising the ERP backbone of our company. Here you will join a team of other SMEs with a similar passion and expertise for SAP. As our SAP journey is a large and complex programme, you will join a community of colleagues working within different SAP specialities across different departments in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) – the internal IT organisation of Novo Nordisk. You will therefore get the chance to meet and collaborate with different colleagues within the other SAP disciplines to implement and succeed with the new S/4 ERP platform. The Novo Nordisk SAP community counts +150 people in Denmark and India, where we work cross organisational across areas and disciplines. About the team Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure, SAP Platforms The new SAP area will be part of Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure, within Global IT Operation (GITO), which includes cloud automation engineers and architects, cloud infrastructure architects, and operational specialists. Within the new SAP Platforms team, we will work closely with our other colleagues in the C&CI team, to ensure that our corporate infrastructure is as operative and viable as possible.
