It is exciting times in Tryg! We are scaling up our sourcing and deployment setup and are on the lookout for a Resource Planning Manager.
Come join our Consultancy Sourcing & Deployment team and help us build a strong and efficient shared sourcing function in Tryg’s Business IT & Digitalisation.

We have rolled out best practices and processes in our DK organization, and now we are ready to go Nordic, and we wish to strengthen our team with a new Resource Planning Manager who can take on a Nordic responsibility and focus.
About the role | Be the Nordic focal point and sparring partner with our colleagues in Norway and Sweden
The Consultancy Sourcing & Deployment team works on improving the overall sourcing and deployment process and ensures focus on continuous improvement and efficiency e.g. through implementing a new e-sourcing tool, rolling out best practice guidelines and governance, and implementing a streamlined end-to-end process for procurement, onboarding, etc. All this is to ensure that Tryg will have a professional sourcing setup that at any given time supports strategic implementation and a large project portfolio through scalability, the fit between skill requirements and competencies, cost efficiency, etc.
As our new Resource Planning Manager, you will add value by implementing our best practices for sourcing in Sweden and Norway. You will be the Nordic focal point and sparring partner with our colleagues in Norway and Sweden.
We expect that you will be working with the following tasks/responsibilities:

You possess profound knowledge and several years of experience within the field of resource management and/or sourcing of external consultants. You know how to navigate in a complex organizational setup and work well with many stakeholders. You bring a strong service mindset, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn quickly.
You take responsibility for your tasks with an end-to-end focus. You can keep focus while having multiple tasks during a work day; in other words, you are the type who thrives by putting a checkmark on your to-do list. You are motivated by driving and facilitating best practices for sourcing as we are still in the process of defining and building our services.
As a person, you are easy and pleasant to work with, and you are genuinely interested in helping other people succeed. You focus on quality in everything you do, you take initiative and speak your mind and you can determine independently what needs to be done.
You will be working in a diverse international environment, where some tasks are solved onsite, and some off-shore. Our teams are composed of a mix of locals, on-site partner people, and off-shore partner people. It is important that you appreciate our workforce diversity and can see yourself in Tryg’s purpose and values: you are a human and cultural bridge-builder and consider diversity an execution superpower. You are fluent in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Location | Where is the role placed geographically?
We work as a team of three colleagues in Ballerup, Denmark, and as Resource Planning Manager you will be placed in Ballerup as well. Some travel to Stockholm and Bergen is to be expected – approximately 2-3 days per month.

We expect that you will be working with the following tasks/responsibilities:
- Daily administration and handling of matters concerning external consultants in Norway and Sweden
- Facilitate the use of tools with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization:
- Help define and implement guidelines, processes, and tools to support sourcing, in close collaboration with Finance & Performance, Vendor Management, and Procurement, and with ongoing input/feedback from users of the sourcing service
- Identify and remove impediments in the current sourcing setup by removing bottlenecks, aligning with BID and Business requirements, etc.
- Setup meeting governance with your Nordic sparring partners
- Assist Hiring managers with staffing requests, including contacting our suppliers with resource requests, negotiations, and work order initiation
- Ensure extensions are in place; end-to-end
