This is an opportunity to become VIKING Life-Saving Equipment’s new Sustainability Professional within our Global QHSE, Legal and Academy division (QLA) at our headquarters in Denmark.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who will be driving our green transition together with our 3000+ skilled colleagues globally. Our ambitions are high also within this area including maintaining our best-in-class status within the sector.

Your primary responsibilities includes;
- Tactically support the sustainability programs together with identified stakeholders across VIKING including facilitation of workshops / idea generation sessions.
- Participate in and support in regards to industry co-partners for specific improvement areas
- Drive specific improvements such as systematically review current best practices and suggestions across the organization and evaluate / enrol such as baseline if fit in agreement with management
- Continuously monitor industry requirements as well as statutory requirements upcoming and prepare decision bases for timely incorporation in VIKING
- Participate in preparation of and follow up on VIKING´s ESG report
- KPI / progress monitoring and reporting
- Support on timely reporting to customers / authorities and other external parties as required.
This position is full time and may include up to 20 international travel days a year.
Your background
- Higher level relevant educational background
- Preferably 2+ years in a similar position with experience from a relevant industry
- You must be able tonavigate in a global organization with many passionate stakeholders
- You have a strong capacity to oversee complex projects as well as a solid business understanding of the full value chain in an international Company
- You should strongly identify with VIKING´s values and mission
- You are a strong communicator and able to express yourself fluently in written English, and maybe German or Spanish as well
