As an IT and Automation Technician/Engineer, you will be a vital part of a team responsible for providing daily support to a production facility located in Gentofte. Working closely with your team members, you will ensure that the facility's IT and automation systems run smoothly and efficiently, troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Here is how we expect you to spend your time in this role:
  • Deliver IT and automation projects to improve facility infrastructure
  • Propose software solutions and upgrade hardware for optimized production
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage project planning, development, testing, and deployment
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues while documenting progress and updates for stakeholders
  • Work with IT and OT systems covering ABB Sattline, Äkta/Unicorn and Utencil Washers, and the integrations between different IT systems.
    • Qualifications You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
  • Worked with PLC/SCADA control of production lines
  • Worked with virtual server environments, Kepware, VMware, OPC and thin client software
  • Worked with validation in a GMP environment
  • Relevant education or background preferably within automation and/or IT
    • You should be familiar with IT and OT systems and understand interactions between equipment and MES systems. You can work independently to solve tasks, are aware of your responsibilities, and can make the necessary decisions to solve problems with efficiency and quality. About the department PPV's Automation & IT department is currently in the project phase and ramping up for operations. We work as a One Team with other project teams and NNE, playing a key role in the Operational Readiness for the world's largest API (insulin) factory. We care not only about what we are creating but also about creating it in a manner we can be proud of. That means being proactive, building trust, respect, and having fun while striving for the same goals. Our key role is evolving from supporting the project organization to becoming operational and ultimately operating the supporting in the Automation & IT areas for the production. You can expect not to be bored and have multiple growth opportunities. You will be part of a team that secures daily IT and Automation support to a production facility. At the same time, we deliver on several small to large projects to these facilities which all are placed in Gentofte. On the organizational level the team belongs to Manufacturing IT, but the team is placed close to production line in the Biotech and Rare Disease production area.
