The Position As our new Associate Manager, you will be heading up a new QA team, supporting a manufacturing department in the process of implementing a new aseptic filling line. The team will be established with the hire of you as associate manager. Some members of the team are already identified, and we are in the process of recruiting the rest. You will join the management team in Biotech & Rare Disease QA FP GEVA, and you will participate in cross-organisational projects and collaborations and make independent decisions with regards to Quality Assurance matters. Your main tasks will be:
  • Recruit and establish the team.

  • Lead, coach and motivate the team.

  • Assure planning and optimal use of resources in the team.

  • Assure the team maintain working procedures and systems to assure cGMP compliance.

  • Provide professional sparring and guidance to team members in complex cases.

  • Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality. You will also make independent decisions regarding planning for the team and participate in solutions to transverse tasks in the department. The position offers great opportunities for personal and professional development. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Natural Sciences.

  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.

  • GMP experience.

  • Experience from aseptic production or QA will be a plus.

  • Good English communication skills.

  • In a personal way you can take the lead and focus on deliverables and on getting good results. You enjoy leading teams, have a high level of personnel and competent decision making within the team’s field of responsibility. You have excellent analytical skills and are well organized and structured. About the Department Our department BRD QA FP GEVA are responsible for assuring safe and innovative products for our patients. The department consists of more than 45 highly qualified employees led by an engaged and dynamic leadership team. You will be a part of a department where behavioural targets are driving our culture and where setting direction for quality is driven through quality oversight and our ability to support and drive improvements. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, and all supporting activities. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
