The position Our future facility will use the latest technology to increase the company's manufacturing capacity in API (antibody) manufacturing. This is an exciting once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help build and operate a new site. The capacity will be built using the latest high-tech equipment, advanced highly integrated and automated manufacturing systems, and have a focus on minimizing the impact on our environment. As Operational Readiness Project Manager, you will play a key role in mapping all activities needed and writing up procedures that need to be in place to ensure that our ultimate goal of delivering an on schedule, right first-time facility start-up will be a success. Some of your main responsibilities include to:
  • Identify all the relevant pre manufacturing program elements necessary to be in place to support overall facility operational readiness
  • Work with the project team and site functional representatives to develop an integrated start up plan reflective of key linkages, interdependencies, durations, resource requirements
  • Proactively manage issues, propose and implement plans to resolve them
  • Forecast resource needs across the integrated plan, anticipate and resolve any projected resource issues before they impact project delivery
  • Provide relevant metrics to appropriate Governance Forums.
  • At all times, you will be the interface between the project and end users. You will effectively communicate and manage both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear scope alignment as well as making sure that goals and timelines are met. You will be working with the different cross functional teams, creating strong morale and fostering open dialogue. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold at least a bachelor's degree in science, pharmacy, project management, engineering or any other relevant field
  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of project management experience from the pharmaceutical industry and be familiar with Lean
  • Have a previous experience implementing a new product or processes in drug production facilities
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • It would be considered as an advantage if you have already worked with API for antibodies. As a person, you possess inclusive leadership skills: you value and listen actively to diverse perspectives while keeping a strategic overview ensuring collaboration across business functions. You know how to energise and motivate people around you. Last but not least, you have strong planning and organisation skills that allows you to priorities efficiently. About the department
