The position As Medical Device Developer, you will work as a Systems Engineer where you will play a leading role in the development of a medical device project through all stages of the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for accurately defining the device requirements and assuring that these requirements are met by the device. You will keep a holistic and structured view of the device during the development process, and you will need to solve interdisciplinary challenges that occur during that process.
Your main tasks will include: The establishment of user needs and systems requirements Verification planning and reporting Establishment of the design history file Ensure design control during development Conducting thorough and detailed analyses of critical system issues Aligning with stakeholders across the organisation to reach decisions and ensure progress You will work in close collaboration with e.g., regulatory affairs, risk managers, mechanical engineers, SW/HW engineers, project managers, UX and graphical designers, where you will play an important role in connecting these stakeholders across professional areas of expertise. Qualifications We are looking for both newly graduates and more experienced engineers You hold a master’s degree or equivalent within engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Biomedical or similar) Professional proficiency within oral and written English is essential It would be considered an advantage if you have: Worked in a medical device company or other regulated industries Work experience within medical device development or other regulated industries Experience with design control processes Successfully taken a product from concept to product launch Proficiency in requirements tools e.g., Modern Requirements Managed complexity of multiple platforms and variants through Product Line Engineering, Configuration Management, and/or Variability Modelling Experience with SW, HW and/or Mechanical domains

About the department The Systems Engineering department consists of highly skilled and motivated professionals and specialists which take pride in being the experts driving system design, from early development through product commercialization. We are part of Novo Nordisk Device Delivery Solutions, which is the organisation responsible for the development of device solutions for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. In our department, we have a wide range of development projects in different development phases that we contribute to, from connected devices to pens and auto-injectors.
