In DFDS we want to accelerate our digital offerings towards our logistics customers.
The offerings span from digital booking creation, post-booking services to digital warehousing transactions. We want to accelerate this journey even further and therefore we need you.
As our new Digital Solutions Analyst, you will be joining a highly motivated Logistics Integrations team formed of analysts, developers, and product owner.
You will have a wide range of touchpoints throughout the organization including local management, internal system users, integration developers and at the same time you will also be communicating with external customers.
You will report to the Team Lead of the Digital Solutions Analysts - Irmak Demir and be based at DFDS Headquarters in Copenhagen. You will be a part of the Logistics Tribe under Technology & Innovation Division.
About the role
In the role as Digital Solutions Analyst, you are the bridge between our customers’ IT department, our in-house development team and local business.With this in mind, you will focus on analyzing the business requirements and design the most optimal way of integrating the customer’s systems to DFDS systems via EDI.
You will be leading integration projects to design, implement and deploy integration solutions for our customers across the globe.

More specifically your main responsibilities include:
- Improve DFDS’s logistics business with your optimization skills by analyzing processes and required data flows between the customers and DFDS
- Design the optimal solution by integrating customer’s systems to our logistics systems by creating specifications for the developers.
- Scoping, analyzing and testing the integration
- Stakeholder management- Have the ability to bridge between different functional areas and being the intersection of business and IT
- Working closely with operations and IT to understand their logistics operations to be able to offer EDI solutions and troubleshoot ongoing solutions
- Implement digital solutions using a variety of technologies and techniques such as EDI and API

Additionally, We Expect That You:
- Have a conceptual understanding of how API and EDI communication works
- Have a relevant educational background either within Engineering, Business, or IT where you have gained an understanding of system integrations and process analysis
- Have interest in processes within the domain of logistics
- Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced, global environment and collaborate effectively across teams
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills in English.
- Have an analytic mind-set and a proven toolbox that allows you to overcome challenges
- You are a pro-active team player, as DFDS creates innovative solutions based on strong internal collaboration.
- You are strongly motivated, curious, and eager to learn. A desire to take on new challenges in an environment that is experiencing rapid growth
Nice to Have:
- General IT knowledge and experience of different systems and software integrations, basic knowledge of integration architecture
- Have experience with agile project management or being part of cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Understanding of XML, Edifact and other data exchange formats
- Have experience with collaboration tools like Azure DevOps
