At Abacus Medicine we are looking for you who have some years' experience as a team manager, especially experience from team development. If you are also familiar with C#, Web applications, Typescript, and functional programming, we would very much like to hear from you. Interested?
Your Responsibilities as our new Team Manager:
At Abacus Medicine we are using and developing on our own internal platform for trading medicines. The system provides mission-critical support for decision-making and operational process across Abacus. One of your responsibilities is to be in control of the daily operations. You will be prioritizing incoming work for the team and be the decision maker as to backlog prioritization and assure that tasks end up at the right people.
In collaboration with our two senior developers, you are setting the software technical strategy direction & purpose and make sure it follows the overall IT- and business strategy for Abacus Medicine.
Other key responsibilities will be:
In the role you will be responsible for all HR tasks regarding 11 of our Software Developers. This includes maintaining a learning environment where you and your team constantly develop and improve skills. As the Team Manager you build upon a strong organization and secure communication within the team and towards the stakeholders, so the company is aligned.
You are on top of our resources and priorities and you follow-up within your team and manage stakeholder group meetings, including the allocation of monthly story points in light of other tasks or priorities.
Are you the right candidate?
To succeed in this position, it is important that you have hands-on experience from the field of Software Development in order to understand the challenges that your colleagues meet in their daily work. Preferably you have experience setting up requirements for CI/CD, test and documentation and you know how to secure scalability of in-house software solutions.

- Setting policies on test, documentation & coding standards
- Improving set-up for monitoring our service
- Defining UX/UI design strategy
- Contributing to the wider business and technical roadmap
- Participating in Steering Committees
- Having the overall responsibility for our tech stack and building a vision for our future deliverables

- A few years' experience as a Team Manager leading and developing a software team
- Relevant educational background as Business and IT candidate, IT engineer, Software developer or similar
- Knowledge of and experience in working with Microsoft Azure
- Proficient in both Danish and English (oral and written).
