We expect that you are a highly skilled, strong, and balanced person who can handle several tasks, along with delivering high quality and on the same time you always maintain the crew’s full respect and welfare.
As a Quality Supervisor for Vento, working on behalf of our clients, you must take all necessary actions to comply with Vestas’ safety and quality standards, in a safe and timely manner.
You will work with several members of the project team, including client representatives participating in all quality tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct component inspections.
- Coordinate quality scope with project team to meet customer WTG requirements.
- Review, approve and document inspection reports.
- Participate in audits in accordance with quality specifications.
- Identify, describe, register, and report non-conformities.
- Inspection of incoming deliveries to site on specified components e.g., nacelles, towers, and blades.
- Coordinate quality improvements across Vestas’ value chain.
- Ensure a safe work environment by acting in compliance with Vestas’ HSE requirements.
Qualifications:
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a quality supervisor with Vestas turbines or components.
- Relevant courses and training, and valid full GWO.
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagrams are desired.
- Good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.
- You speak and write English fluently and have good IT skills.
- WTG and wind turbine experience is desired.
- You always act professional and deliver high quality in your work.
- Confident Microsoft Office user
- You have a health and safety mindset.
- You must be a European Passport holder to apply.
