Ensure quality in our production
Your overall goal is to ensure compliance for process and product quality of amplifiers produced at our Ballerup site. You must make sure that people know WHY we are doing what we do.
You will participate in daily board meetings with the management, where our tasks are discussed and prioritized. “Thomas, our Vice President of Global Amplifier Operations and site responsible in Ballerup wants to create a good working environment. And one part of doing this, is to be more transparent regarding projects and responsibilities, which means we can always support each other”, says your new manager, Maciej Hajdas.
To stay compliant, you will ensure that organization at the site understand the Quality Policy, this includes
Through early involvement in the development of future amplifiers for hearing aids, we ensure and coordinate "New Product Introduction" (NPI), production and distribution quality.
You will also get in touch with multiple stakeholders such as your nearest quality colleagues as well as colleagues from the production, project managers and the quality department in Poland.
You can expect to get a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, covering quality and compliance. You will get the chance to communicate and collaborate with many different stakeholders on different levels and sites, from experts in the development organization to our operators on the floor.
The role as team lead, requires that you sometimes act as player-coach, and assist where needed. We are continuously met with new products and standards, so it’s a good way to keep hands on experience and to know what the team is working with.
You should expect 5-10 travel days to Poland.
Welcome to team Global Amplifier Operations Quality
You will join the Demant Group, which develops and produces some of the most advanced hearing aids in the world. You will be a part of our Global Amplifier production in Ballerup, where a total of 140 colleagues are waiting to welcome you.
You will be a part of the Global Amplifier Operations Quality team, which consist of 10 skilled and dedicated colleagues. We are an international team supporting Danish and Polish production and of course ourselves and our colleagues in the rest of the world.
“We are a mixed energies team - you will not be bored here. In the team you will find different com-petencies and experience, both junior and senior, and also with backgrounds in both medical, auto-motive and electronics production, which is really valuable for our knowledge sharing.” says Maciej.
As our new Team Lead, you will guide and develop your team of 4 colleagues in the quality department. On a day-to-day basis, you will oversee daily work tasks, allocate resources according to the production flow and train them if needed.
“I spend my time between our production site in Poland and in Ballerup, so when I’m in Poland, you will oversee the work while being in close contact with me. It’s also a new role, so you will be a part in shaping it, and you get to use your full potential and at the same time and develop your competencies” says Maciej.
Quality and compliance is your thing!
You have a relevant technical background and have worked with manufacturing of electronics. We expect you to have experience within quality and compliance in production. You know what quality is, and how to meet requirements.
Our daily work is characterized by continuous improvements, so it is important that you as a person are positive, open, and has the competencies to adapt. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and like sparring and sharing information with your colleagues. Finally, you have a ‘can do attitude’ and prioritizing between different tasks to achieve your own and our common goal comes natural to you.

- Each function is responsible for the quality of their deliveries
- Quality function is accountable for assuring that quality & compliance is delivered by the organization
- Quality function is empowered to request plans and activities for quality improvement
- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of local Quality System and ensuring it is in compliance with legislation and Demant procedures
- Ensuring compliance to the Quality System for the site
- Coordination of activities related to maintaining and improving the quality management system
- Supervision of the corrective and preventive actions
