Design our future global transportation
The aim is to develop and drive a global transportation strategy that considers current conditions and streamlines our freight discipline worldwide, whilst addressing factors such as risk, sustainability, market development and service levels. The role is crucial for the company’s transportation performance, and you will work closely with corporate functions and key markets, such as US, China, Japan and many Euro-pean countries.

In this capacity, you will not have direct reports for the time being. However, you will need leadership skills to work with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders, and senior management.

You will be part of our Global Supply Chain department, based in ’s headquarter in Smørum, re-porting to the VP of Global Supply Chain. You will have 130 colleagues waiting to welcome you, half of them located in Smørum, the other half in Mierzyn, Poland. Who are we looking for?
You have experience from the freight forwarder industry or within logistic management. Preferably from a freight forwarder, courier, or medical device company with a strong global footprint operating through sales companies and retail channels. You have a deep understanding of the global transportation market and are experienced with handling suppliers and contracts. You have a business-oriented approach that allows you to spot opportunities for enhancements and refinements.
The role requires someone skilled in analysis and practiced in the art of resolving issues swiftly. You should be able to think creatively and translate market insights into business actions. You are a fast learn-er, enabling you to act as a strategic partner, and as a change agent for our global markets. You have fine-tuned communication and stakeholder management skills which allows you to effectively reach stake-holders at all levels of the organization. You excel in navigating stakeholder relationships, cultivating fol-lowership and securing agreement.
An important part of the role is to have an in-depth understanding of our sales and retail companies, you should therefore expect 30-40 travel days.

Design our future global transportation

Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Create, implement, and run global strategy for transportation and distribution in our hearing aids business. This involves strategic supplier management and overseeing the global costs related to transportation.
- Drive cost optimization through monitoring of suppliers’ performance, analyzing, and reporting cost savings against investments proposal, capital expenditures and contract spend commit-ments.
- Stay updated and informed about market developments within the global transportation domain, especially regarding the utilization of technologies and local market requirements as well as changes to legislation that may impact our business.
- Understand the end-to-end supply chain and to proactively identify risks and opportunities en-suring that all actions are taken to address those.
- Ensure excellent stakeholder and change management within Global and Local Operations, as well as commercial parties to enable smooth processes and support continuous improvements.
- Communicate the results and market developments in a clear and timely manner, and report them according to the standards of Finance, Management, and audits.
