We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Product Management team in Trading & Treasury at our Headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be interacting and collaborating with colleagues across the globe, while you fast track your personal development and grow your capabilities in financial products working in a truly international environment. This provides the perfect opportunity to gain direct hands-on experience of the dynamics of a multi-asset investment bank.
The Product Management team is responsible for managing the multi-asset class product strategy and supporting Global Sales with product functionalities, market access and subject matter expertise throughout the value chain and we’re looking for a curious and talented Student Assistant to help. You will be working alongside highly experienced Saxo professionals and will be able to gain insights into the details of our complete product offering.
You will be supporting our Product Managers with a variety of tasks such as:
- Help build statistical and analytical tools to be used across products & services and trading for example for product profitability reporting and competitor analysis.
- Analyze Saxo client and market data to improve understanding of client trading/investment behavior and optimize the product structuring process.
- Involved in developing and structuring new trading products and exploring new business areas.
- Help improving existing products and services to align incentives and increase transparency.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses & various administrative tasks.
Your profile:
- You have a genuine interest in financial markets and trading.
- You have a couple of years remaining on your studies in Finance, Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- You are an experienced MS Office user, especially in regard to MS Excel and SQL.
- Knowledge within VBA, Python and PowerBI is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
- Fluency in English is required both written and verbal.
Further you are analytical, curious, and independent of nature with an ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other team-members. You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, listening and challenging other’s perspective(s). You have good cross-functional collaborative skills and enjoy or would like to be part of working within an international dynamic environment. You are self-driven with a passion for optimizing processes and a drive to find intelligent and scalable solutions.
