Dalum Beverage Equipment develops and produce cutting-edge, resource and cost saving process equipment to the fast-growing segment of craft breweries.The company covers the growing need for craft breweries to have access to affordable, advance technologies. Technologies that help breweries reduce emissions, improve the utilization of raw materials, and reduce use of water and energy.
The CO2 -Unit
The unit promotes a circular utilization of the breweries natural CO2, by recovering the CO2 from the fermentation. It is collected, purified, liquefied, stored and ready to be used in all steps of the beer production as alternative to the transport and use of CO2 from external sources.
Besides having an impact on the costs, it also has a positive effect on environment and climate. It considerable reduces the breweries CO2-emission, supports Green Deal and UN Sustainable Goals.
The Opportunity
* We develop and market innovative solutions and you will have the opportunity to accomplish groundbreaking projects, creating new sustainable opportunities for Craft Brewers to improve efficiency and quality.
* You will have very broad responsibilities covering multiple disciplines in concept development, process, and mechanical design and not least documentation in Inventor.
* Tasks that vary from deep analytical development in process and mechanical design and documentation to hands on operational tasks, improving our equipment, plus playing a role in marketing of the company and products. Moreover, we have common tasks in the continuous building of the structure in the company.
* You will work closely together with the founder, suppliers, customers, and other internal functions in a very entrepreneurial and demanding environment, and you will have the opportunity to make a great impact and gain a central role in the company going forward.
The Tasks
* Idea generation and concept development with customers and peers
* Chemical and mechanical R&D, process design, simulation, and test
* Mechanical and electrical CAD design and documentation
* Build and test prototypes in cooperation with suppliers and brewers
* Commissioning and improvement of process units
* Contribute to the future structure in the company
The Person
You are a self-starter and work well independent in lose structures, but also in teams while aiming for the target. You are energetic and persistent and take on the tasks required to get the job done.
You are probably a strong analytical, M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, with a holistic focus on process, automation, mechanical and electrical design. You master many disciplines, are quick to learn and you do not quit before you have accomplished.
You have specific experience with 3-D CAD design and with several of the following: NPD, PLC programming, Process Simulation and P&ID development, Commissioning, Equipment for the food industry and you have accomplished outstanding results easy to explain.
It is important that you have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a Scaleup with big ambitions and growth potential – therefore you must be openminded, flexible and able to adapt to changes easily.
The candidate should preferably have some years of experience, but top graduates with the right skills and mindset are encouraged to apply.
Workplace Søndersø.
Travel activity will be required.
