Georg Jensen is looking for an experienced Project Manager for the Product Management department to take ownership of a key project in Product Management, which is the update of our packaging strategy. The position is a project-based position for a period of 6 months. The position is based at our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, close to metro, bus and the Frederiksberg Gardens.
You will join a team of 4 dedicated and passionate employees, all working on the company’s products life cycles. You will report directly to the Senior Director for Marketing and Product Management.
Georg Jensen has a leading market position in the high-end Jewellery and Silverware market and premium Home Product market with distribution to the best retailers in the market. We strive to protect our strong brand position to ensure our customers continue to be inspired by Georg Jensen products.
The role
We see packaging as an important part of the consumer journey and the value chain for our brand. Packaging must deliver a compelling experience to all our customers across categories (Jewellery, Watches, Home, and Silverware) and channels, in line with our core values of being daring, masterful, inviting, and enduring. Your main stakeholders will be your colleagues from Product design, Procurement & Supply Chain, Marketing, and Retail Excellence. Criteria for success in this position will be the ability to work with our packaging assortment to deliver the right experience to our consumers, at the right cost and fully compliant with our ESG standards.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Review the existing assortment and conduct a gap analysis focusing on experience, cost and ESG compliance within the existing design.
- Develop a scope of optimization and roadmap per category and channel including stakeholders, a clear set of KPIs, timeline and expected milestones to roll out.
- Drive the project together with your manager and the project team.
- Drive gate meetings with the Senior Management Team to secure relevant buy-in and approvals.
The ideal candidate has:
- 7+ years of experience with project management with cross-functional teams
- Product management experience with a good understanding of the whole value chain
- Experience with Jewellery and/or Home is a plus
- Good understanding of the retail environment

- Business proficiency in English and Danish with great communication skills
- Highly skilled MS Office user, especially Excel.
