We are looking for an “assistant project manager” to support the Owner/Client organization in managing a complex building project in the heart of Copenhagen.
The project is being delivered as a Design and Build project and the Employer of the project is The Capital Region of Denmark, Centre for Real Estate.
About the project
The Capital Region of Denmark is currently investing 20 billion DKK in hospital construction across the region. The projects will create contemporary and functional frameworks for the best possible treatment, with a focus on the patients.
New Hospital Bispebjerg consists of several separate projects, of which the Main Hospital Building, of approx. 75,500 m2, is the largest. The hospital is expected to be finished in 2026.

Core Responsibilities
The Region’s role as the Employer in the Design and Build Contract is to ensure that the works are progressing as per the requirements, the agreed schedule, and the budget.
The Assistant project manager will work directly with the head of construction and project director supporting the extended employer organization with the following tasks:
Analyze cost plans, and progress claims, and conduct cost benchmark analysis

The salary and conditions for the employment will be according to current trade agreements, with the possibility of negotiating supplements for qualifications.
The workplace is located at Bispebjerg Hospital, Bispebjerg Bakke, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

The Assistant project manager will work directly with the head of construction and project director supporting the extended employer organization with the following tasks:
Analyze cost plans, and progress claims, and conduct cost benchmark analysis
- Assist in the processing and coordination of contract changes and claims
- Assist in the identification of project risks, and implementation of mitigation plans.
- Support the employer organization with the supervision of design and construction works
- Analyze and assist in the preparation of time schedules
- Attend meetings, prepare agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and track the timely completion of actions and decisions
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project documents
- Support the organization of the project web portal, data management, and information flow
About you
We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree related to the construction industry and the built environment (e.g., structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering, architecture, project management, etc.) Further studies in project management or construction law are an advantage
- 0 – 3 years of relevant experience
- A good level of English, the role requires writing reports in English and most verbal communication will be in English.
- PD3 or equivalent level of Danish language skills
- Practical knowledge of Danish BIM practice (DS/EN/ISO 19650)
- General knowledge of the standard form of construction contracts, and knowledge of Danish AB contracts is an advantage
- Furthermore, knowledge of Primavera P6 and Molio prisdata is an advantage
