STUDENT ASSISTANT - FINANCIAL AND BUSINESS CONTROLLING

We are currently looking for a student assistant to our finance team in the heart of Copenhagen.
This role will give an experience with business and financial controlling and further you will gain a great insight on how a finance department is operating. This includes development expertise within our ERP & BI-System (Navision & Targit).

The role is a student job with flexible working hours, approx. 20 hours per week. You will report to the Controls & Reporting Manager and start date is ideally May 2024.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Internal reporting (e.g., assist with monthly financial closing and business reporting)
• Utilize and interpret data our BI tool
• Testing and documentation of internal controls subject to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
• Various cost analyses
• Preparation of financial data and reporting to relevant authorities
• Ad hoc – financial inquiries

YOUR PROFILE

• You study a relevant degree within finance or economics, ideally finishing your 2nd year of the bachelor
• You are eager to learn new things, you are ambitious and motivated by challenges
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, be persistent, and show responsibility
• Possess strong numeracy skills
• Organized with a systematic and structured approach and hold a solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in Danish and English
• Skills within Microsoft Office; especially Excel
• Socially strong – are outgoing with the ability to connect with your colleagues.
