In this role, you will be the controller of one of our assets portfolios, where you will gain valuable experience in asset management from a finance perspective.More specifically, your responsibilities include:
  • carrying out P&L calculations, settlement calculations and monthly closing for your assigned area based on large and complex datasets
  • optimising processes and tools

Our primary task is to calculate P&L for these teams and ensure a correct month-end close. We analyse and report P&L and other financial numbers and we work with big datasets using different tools and technologies. We continuously optimise our processes, tools and ways of working, for example by building and improving our own solutions for result calculations, month-end closing and analyses.We are a team of 19 committed and quality-minded specialists in controlling, organised in three sub-teams. The team is very diverse and consists of colleagues from around the globe, and we have created a welcoming and supportive work environment where everyone feels included.Since you will be cooperating with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, we are looking for someone with great stakeholder management skills. In the team, we assist the business with data used for daily decision-making. For that reason, it is important that you take an analytical, structured and curious approach to data and problem-solving.Furthermore, we imagine that you:
  • have a relevant educational background, for instance in Economics or Finance
  • have a least one year of experience from a similar position
  • have experience with SQL, R, VBA or Power BI – or are curious to learn
  • are interested in finance and working with large datasets
  • are proficient in English – both written and spoken
