We’re looking for someone to own our payroll and admin processes with a high level of autonomy, balancing technical precision while serving as a trusted point of contact for our leaders.People foundation as a coreAs our Payroll Specialist, you will be in the engine room of our people team. You’ll be responsible for driving high-quality data, systems, and workflows, ensuring that every touchpoint is handled with precision and care.
More specifically your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the monthly Danish payroll cycle (in Zenegy) from A-Z, managing everything from pension, to health insurance and reimbursement with high attention to detail.
- Administering the Danish Holiday cycle, including proactive follow up, holiday transfer documentation, and required reporting.
- Handle everything related to parental leave, acting as advisor for both employees and leaders.
- Administration of the employee lifecycle processes, such as pre-onboarding and off-boarding in our HRIS (Hibob) to ensure every colleague receives a smooth and professional experience.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers for our markets outside of Denmark.
- Creation of employment contracts, addendums, and legal documentation using Oneflow.
- Maintaining, quality-assuring, and updating our systems to ensure data accuracy and efficient workflows across our international offices.

Moreover, we believe the following will set you up for success in the role:
- 1-3 years of experience within payroll processing.
- Experience with, or strong interest in Danish employment law - this may come from formal studies, HR experience, or relevant practical exposure.
- A good understanding of payroll processes and a natural flair for systems and data.
- Enjoy working independently and take ownership of your tasks and deadlines.
- A good and human-oriented communicator in both Danish and English.
- A service minded approach and the ability to keep a good structure when workloads are high.
