Transparent and fact-based information and analysis
As Business Controller at BoConcept you will hold a central and critical role in the Commercial Finance team in an international company.
The main purpose of the role is to improve and continuously provide insights into our retail performance. Creating transparency, improving insights and ensuring relevant and valid reports are main tasks of this role. The role must support our retail performance and global growth journey with focus on relevant KPIs and store performance across markets. In this context, you will deliver business insights, analyses and reports, which support our key stakeholders in making data-driven decisions. Another important task is making sure that our Retail Power BI platform is updated, relevant and valid to support both internal and external stakeholders.
With the right focus this role will be able to ensure a higher level of transparency across the retail area and make sure that we make the right decisions and have the right focus in terms of expansion, initiatives, trends and development areas.
Other important tasks include:
- Support on developing/maintaining the BI datawarehouse and Power BI platform
- Supporting the Marketing analytics department with analysis and insights
Together with your colleagues in the Commercial Finance team you follow the annual finance wheel and provide support in different financial cycles (mainly weekly and monthly reporting).
We are looking for people with DRIVE!
Your background is not essential, but the ideal candidate has:
• A relevant educational background, e.g. Cand.merc., Cand.oecon, HD-A or similar
• Some years of experience from a similar position (+2 years) – preferably as Business Controller, Financial Analyst or Business Developer
• Solid experience with MSBI, Power BI and Excel
As an individual you are:
• Quick to understand complex issues and can communicate these in a simple, easy to understand way
• Trustworthy and good at building relations
• Good at taking initiative - a self-starter who easily engages with others
• Very structured and systematic in your ways of working
• Result and solution-driven and always keep your deadlines
• Capable of understanding the importance of communication and keeping people informed
