You thrive in an everyday life with many routine tasks, and at the same time are ready to tackle ad hoc tasks that arise along the way. You are interested in understanding and utilizing different IT systems and platforms, and it is natural for you to learn about this.
You have high organizational skills, and the ability to work in a structured way and you complete the work with attentions to the details.
If you are already a super user in Microsoft Excel, it is an advantage, alternatively you are ready to learn it. Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Flows is an additional plus, but not an expectation.
A day in your life with us
As a Sales and Supply Support specialist, you will handle several different tasks – always with the customers in mind, ensuring the best possible product availability. You will deliver in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and need to adapt quickly to change.
Your task is the proactive planning to secure the best possible circumstances for the supply chain and by that product availability for the customers. You will analyze data, find answers and come up with recommendations– it is therefore important that you have a basic understanding of retail and/or logistics. When proposing actions and solutions an end-to-end orientation is needed and to apply the analytical process-oriented thinking to run and develop the operation as effectively as possible.
On a daily basis, you will work with a number of routine tasks involving both technical and practical inventory management. It is your task to analyze the products where we experience challenges due to stock balance errors and act accordingly. You must also ensure that IKEA's processes and rules are followed for all types of transactions in cooperation with your business partners.
Last but not least, everyday life consists of ongoing support and cooperation with all functions and levels in the house, which is why it should be natural for you to communicate with both new employees and top management.

You will be part of a small team of competent and committed colleagues where you to a very large extent run the department jointly, and practice freedom with responsibility. In the position, you will report to our Logistics Manager.
It is the team behind the scenes that makes IKEA products to the many people with main areas of responsibility are stock and range management as well as goods availability - which products do we need and when. Yes, we do like numbers and excel but only for having insights to support the business and our stakeholders.

OTHER INFORMATION
• The position is 37+ hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is sometimes expected and reflected in the salary.
• Working hours can variate but will be between 7 and 16 mainly. You will be working every 3. Weekend. To a large extend you can influence your own schedule, taking the needs of the department into account.
• The location is IKEA Copenhagen
• Salary within IKEA’s salary policy based on your competencies and including pension.
