About the Job:
You will become an important key player in providing a good technical and commercial support to our outdoor sales teams to maintain a good business relationship with our existing customers for Metal Expansion Joints as well as developing new customers globally.
Tasks:
- You will be responsible for evaluating and handling quotation requests for metal expansion joints and sending techno-commercial offers using our design configurators
- You will be responsible for the agreed deadlines for the submission of offers/tenders
- Answering technical queries from customers and communicate customer expectations internally within the organization
- You will have the responsibility to support in meeting the agreed budgets/targets for related existing and new customers - both sales and earnings
- You will need to coordinate with Engineering and Operations for handling engineering inquiries
- You are responsible for keeping updated with knowledge of the application and the customers, including the customer's future strategies, order backlog and alliances
- You will have large variety and independence in your daily work
Your qualifications:
- You have an education as mechanical engineer or similar technical background
- Preferably you have at least 3 years’ experience within technical sales or customer fulfilment
- Application knowledge for various applications including power plants and marine industry will be preferred
- You have excellent verbal and written communication in English
- You are a team player and a problem solver
- Meeting deadlines is your first priority
- Adapting to change management is one of your strength
