As our new Head of Sales, you will drive our sales efforts across all our core markets in Europe. You can think and strategize internationally, and you are motivated by the challenge of scaling up, leading your team to success, and taking the business to the next level. You aim high in your ambition for what Sales can provide to our organisation and our customers during this vital period of growth. You combine analytical thinking and strong leadership skills with the ability to create frameworks for meeting the needs of our customer segments. In addition, you have broad experience in landing cross-border or market specific enterprise deals in a B2B setting.

You will lead a team of 5 international salespeople and 3 Customer Success Managers at our headquarter in Copenhagen office. You will oversee all sales-related activities, including the sales coming from our European franchise partners.

Leadership

One of the primary responsibilities of the position is to lead the sales department. You will be responsible for establishing and executing our sales strategy in line with the company's overall objectives. This includes setting sales targets for the team, as well as monitoring progress, budgets, forecasts, and reports.

You serve as a mentor in some of the company's most important positions. And you do so by leveraging your previous experience and expertise from SaaS companies.

Strategy

As our Head of Sales, you will be responsible for devising and implementing effective sales strategies to generate revenue for the business. You will optimise the company's market position in relation to our target customers and develop a roadmap to ensure the company reaches its overall objectives.

Collaboration

As our Head of Sales, you will oversee the prioritisation of feature development from the time they are proposed by customers to their creation and, finally, launch. You work closely with Marketing to ensure the right focus of our messaging. And we frequently share our insights with our European franchises to support sales in all strategically important markets.

Relationship building

As our Head of Sales, you are responsible for managing critical relationships on behalf of the company. You cultivate strong relationships with external partners and customers. You interact with them at events such as fairs, workshops, and so on, to build rapport with relevant prospects.

Data driven sales

As our Head of Sales, you make good use of analytic tools and work closely with your team so that they can make informed decisions based on sales performance and other relevant aspects. You use analysis and data to identify areas for improvement and come up with actionable insights for improved sales and profits.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and represent Sales in the Management Team. We use HubSpot as our CRM, so it would be great if you do too.

You are the right candidate if:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales – preferably for a SaaS company – and minimum 3 years of experience in leading an international team of salespeople.
  • You are an experienced people manager with a genuine interest in people development and you take pride in your team's success and growth.
  • You can show past success in selling complex solutions to diverse and demanding enterprises.
  • You are inquisitive about our product, what our customers value, and what motivates their workflows, and you help your team overcoming hurdles and closing the deal.
