NNIT Network Operations consists of 40+ resources in Denmark, Czech and Philippines, and our primary focus is to operate our customers security related services. And provide expert advisory on network security solutions all around the world.
We are operating existing and new solutions within Datacenter Network Core. Our customers are within the Life Science industry, Finance, Private & Public.
We are increasingly busy, so we need more hands and brains to support our journey.
Your Responsibilities as Datacenter Networking Specialist
You have a strong mindset, are flexible and can plan and execute your own tasks. You value good documentation and supporting processes and put honor in what you do.
Operations vary from minor adjustments on existing environments, transition to new environments, daily operation tasks, sw. qualification, patching, be a part of delivering services on large enterprise solutions.
You will work with a variety of tasks and your responsibilities will include:
- Working on assignments with full costumer contact and as part of a team collaborating with architects, client, project managers and other stakeholders.
- Daily operational tasks
- Be a part of our 24x7 On Call Team
- Maintain critical infrastructure
- Responsible for implementing changes and service request as well as troubleshoot Incidents with the right level of documentation in order to comply with the required compliance level, whether it is within the public or pharmaceutical sector
- Furthermore, you will take part in normal operations maintenance such as patch, license renewal and audits responsibility, where our contributions are included in the delivery.
- Participate in implementing projects.

You Have In-depth Knowledge and experience of
Technical
- CCNP level knowledge
- Cisco Nexus, VMware virtualization, good knowledge of SAN switching
- Experience understanding SDN portfolio from top brands as Cisco ACI etc.
- Experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols on a senior level (e.g. BGP, OSPF, MPLS-VPN, VXLAN/EVPN, DMVPN, vPC, and distributed networks).
- 2-3 years hands-on experience with designing and implementing data center fabric solutions using Cisco ACI technology.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN
- Perform user acceptance tests for data center network solutions and assignments
- Validate and keep documentation updated
- Perform patch, security patches
- Good experience in designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting these various network technologies and protocols.
- Good experience using Application Programming Interface (APIs) and API Gateways
To fix and coordinate installation of all system software and network hardware for the data center - Obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
- Perform patch and security patches
- Test new releases
Process
- 3 years’ experience of Incident/change/problem handling in a larger enterprise environment
- Knowledge of GxP or other Qualified solutions a plus
Mental
- Ability to pick up and dissect complex infrastructure
- Ability to take ownership of support cases with 3rd party vendors
- Ability for function as an escalation point for your colleagues
Your Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate has an educational background within computer science, engineering or similar.
Broad Network knowledge combined with years of experience working with Datacenter Core network.
You Have Experience Within
- Create and handle incidents, change, service request and cleanup activities.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI devices.
- Good hands-on experience with configuration and troubleshooting
- Test sw. releases
- Keep documentation updated
- ITIL Management framework
- Preparing technical documents
As a person you like to keep yourself updated on new technologies - especially in technologies from Cisco / Juniper. It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with certificates, network, security, and virtualization.
You have strong communication skills and are fluent in spoken and written English.
You must have at least 7 years of working in Europe or being a Danish citizen, as you may need to have security clearances in order to work with certain customers.
