With direct reference to our Head of Group Accounting, you will become part of a dedicated team with very broad responsibilities and a close connection to subsidiaries. As Kamstrup is experiencing solid growth, we are currently working on ways to further optimize and professionalize the way we perform Financial consolidation end-to-end. This position will play a focal role in laying the optimized foundation for several core processes as month close, coordination and alignment with business partners and development of our annual report. We encourage and motivate our colleagues and ourselves to bring new ideas and smarter ways of working and we put pride in our close and collaborative relationship to our internal customers.
Manager for Financial Controlling with focus on best practice implementation
In the position as Financial Controlling Manager you will act according to the player-coach principle where you will be a direct contributor to solving tasks in relation to our financial consolidation by coordinating all input and output related to monthly closing and annual closing. You will be a trusted advisor and sparring to Head of Group Accounting as well as have a close collaboration with colleagues and the local finance managers in the joint effort of ensuring high quality and numbers.
While being the Manager we expect you to lead your team by example and be responsible for the professional and personal development of your team consisting of 3 employees. You will continuously host 1-to-1 sessions, provide sparring and knowledge sharing to support the engagement and performance within the team.
More specifically your tasks will be:
Personality matters
We are looking for an experienced and well-founded financial crafter with a profound financial skillset. Your solid experience gives you the ability to translate defined best practice into real life. Furthermore, you have an analytical and systematic approach and it is an advantage if you have experience from documentation of processes. Your strong communicative skills enable you to communicate on all levels of the organization, while establishing strong collaborative ties. As a person, you are self-motivated, and your proactive and positive attitude catches on to your colleagues as you motivate and grow your team.
Moreover, you have an economic degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration combined with minimum 5 years of experience working as a Financial Controller or a similar role and you have the motivation to lead a team by example as their Manager.

- Overall financial controlling of PL and Balance Sheet
- Overseeing fixed asset accounting, controlling and VAT
- IC Accounting, TP adjustments and IC Reconciliations
- External reporting including setting up the Annual Report
- Drive transformation, documentation and process and quality optimization of areas of responsibility
