Experienced Oracle Developer for Novo Nordisk Engineering

About the role
We are looking for an Oracle Developer to join our MES core team consisting of 11 team members. As a team, we develop innovative software solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. We have developed a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) that is undergoing a major technology upgrade which also means transformation of our development processes.
Your role will be key in influencing this transformation by applying your technology and software development expertise as an Oracle Developer. Simultaneously, you will learn the details of the MES and acquire the necessary skills to eventually develop into the role as Tech Lead.

As an Oracle Developer, you’ll be
- Developing features for our MES system. This involves all development activities: planning, requirements, design, development, code review, tests, deployment, and documentation, all in close collaboration with our customers.
- Working in an informal environment with a flat structure driven by high professionalism, a passion for software development and delivering the best solutions to our customers.
- Using an agile development approach, where we focus on working collaboratively towards our shared goal.
- Delivering software according to internal and client procedures. We will train you in our Quality Management System, GxP and compliance.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in software engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports
- Experience within software life-cycle processes and supporting tools
- You speak and write English fluently
- Experience in some of the following is considered an advantage:
- Oracle WebLogic
- C#, Java
- Agile software delivery
- REST API, web API and web services
- JavaScript/Typescript
- Pharma/Regulated business
- Oracle WebLogic
