Learning and Development Partner – Learning to live or living to learn?
Admitted, the headline in question is a song lyric by musician Beth Hart. Even though we aren’t looking for a singer-songwriter, we are on the lookout for someone who is just as motivated about inspiring growth and development as we are.
At Abacus Medicine Group we know how to live – but we would like to know more about how to learn, which is why we are looking for a Learning and Development Partner to help us in these efforts. In this position you’ll be given the opportunity to co-create and set the path for Abacus Medicine Groups future learning and developmental environment together with our Head of Group Learning and Development.
Being creative in developing the organization and training employees won’t be your only primary responsibility.
To be more exact you will also be:
- Designing, implementing and delivering: You will be responsible for high-quality learning solutions that align with the company’s vision, values and strategic goals. Including Global Learning and Development programs for the AM group, in focus areas such as Leadership Development Training and Team Development Programs. You will also be helping us choosing and implementing a learning management platform and ensure the right structure and blended approach to the learning journeys.
- Consulting, developing and identifying: You will be the one to consult and a key stakeholder in the development of the overall L&D structure and the various learning journeys that support the global and local job architecture and career paths. You will also be conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities within our workforce.
- Fostering, supporting and cultivating:You foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization, supporting the professional growth and career aspirations of our employees and cultivate an agile and modern learning culture.

From the job description above you can probably tell that you’ll be playing a key role in enhancing the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our global workforce. In relation to that we’ll be providing you with the support you need to do so, but also the possibility to see this as a unique chance to make your own mark on the future course of Learning & Development within Abacus Medicine Group. It’s equally important to us that you too feel empowered and inspired and experience this as a chance to grow and learn in a fast-paced and ever evolving environment. Furthermore, we offer an overall inspiring atmosphere and enjoy having lunch together at our seaside location.
Now, that you’ve learned something about us, we want to get to know you
We especially want to hear from you, if you possess a strategic mindset, have a bachelor or diploma for example within HR or Learning specific areas, and around 5 years of experience in Training and Development including solid experience in training delivery within Leadership Development Programs. You should furthermore be trained in a psychometric tool, and you might also have experience with e-learning platforms and web-based training in general. It would be an advantage if you have leadership experience although it’s not a requirement – it’s a requirement though that you can implement and operate as well as identify yourself with being proactive by nature.
Finally, you should feel comfortable working in an international environment where you will be communicating in English when delivering trainings.
