Your New Team

You will be part of the Ammongas Technical Project & Service Engineering team which consists of 12 colleagues located in different geographies, working closely together with our project, business development, and commercial teams. We tailor solutions to our Biogas and RNG customers who wish to produce green biofuel and green CO2. We have entered new markets as many countries are looking for proven solutions to support their way to a green energy transition, driven by national and international project developers ranging from farmers to large energy groups.

Your New Role

As our new Technical Project & Service Engineer you will be part of an exciting journey and have influence over Ammongas´ Biogas/RNG expansion in the North American region. You will coordinate technical projects from A-Z, handle meetings with stakeholders, give technical sparring including QA & QC on work done by Project Engineers, and report back to the HQ on continuous commissioning and troubleshooting. In addition, you will work closely with our commercial team being an Ammongas´ ambassador in North America.

Areas of Responsibilities

• Technical Project management
• Technical support for Project Managers, coordinators and customers
• Sparring with customers and Operation Leads at the plants
• Project planning
• Maintenance planning for various plants
• Dimensioning of pumps, heat exchangers, and pipes
• Drawing in 2D and 3D
• Inspection during workshop production and onsite construction
• Commissioning and service onsite

Your Background

• A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• You have +5 years of experience within engineering and technical project management
• You are a proficient user of AutoCAD 3D, Office 360, and MS Projects
• You are fully proficient in English

Ammongas A/S- At a Glance

Ammongas was founded in 2002 and is one of the market leaders in Denmark when it comes to upgrading biogas through CO2 separation. In recent years, the company has moved more into the area of CO2 capture and liquefaction, and has one of the first operational pilot projects in Denmark. Ammongas is in the process of an internationalization process with several projects outside Denmark’s borders in Europe and USA.

Ammongas was acquired by [xxxxx] in 2022 with the purpose of facilitating new possibilities in the development of biogas upgrading and carbon capture in Denmark and abroad.

Workplace:Houston, Texas and remotely with opportunities to flex work from our office in Austin, Texas

Travel Activities:Travelling within the US and visits to our HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark will be required.
