We are looking for a Cost and Pricing Analyst to lead the optimization and implementation of Faerch’ s product costing model across all manufacturing sites, and take full ownership of the Faerch pricing tool, ensuring best insights for quotation of new business.
As our Cost and Pricing Analyst, you will get the opportunity to utilize your analytical competencies by monitoring and translating complex data into detailed analysis and reports for decision making.
Your role
Referring to the Director, Group Controlling, the position is part of Group Controlling located in Holstebro, Denmark. The position also has a global reach and you will therefore work closely with stakeholders across our locations in Europe and the US.
As Cost and Pricing Analyst your responsibilities will include:
To succeed in this role, you have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to draw conclusions with the business in mind and you are thereby able to deliver professional solutions with a pragmatic and operational approach.
Your profile
You bring a master’s degree in Economics, or Finance and at least 2 years of related finance or business controlling experience. You are able to work independently and can work effectively on several workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of details and quality.

Your role

As Cost and Pricing Analyst your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the annual budget costing
- Optimize current quotation processes
- Understand and analyze manufacturing processes and labour
- Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
- Develop new market based pricing model
- Estimate product costs for existing and new products
- Support the commercial team in complex tenders process
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc

Your profile

In addition, you have the following qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and demonstrates good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- A strong analytical thinker with the ability to combine strong data insight with commercial and business awareness
