Product Owner, Data Integration, Santander

The position

As Product Owner for Data Integrations, you are responsible for our Nordic Operational Data Store (ODS). This responsibility covers data models, governance, and integration/synchronization of data (batch and events) from our core banking systems and platforms.

The Nordic ODS is an extremely business-critical platform in our new Nordic IT architecture. You will work with the latest technologies and services within Informatica and Microsoft Azure such as Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Service Bus.

Your team consists of 9 highly motivated and professionally skilled team members distributed in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Poland. They work as a Scrum team and are part of our Transformation Agile Release Train (SAFe).

You work closely with our Common Services team that develops our Nordic Banking API Platform, Data Management teams and colleagues in our Agile Release Trains.

Your responsibilities include

• Maintain and document Product Vision and Roadmap for Data Integration in collaboration with stakeholders and developers
• Maintain an updated and prioritized product backlog with well-written user histories and accept criteria
• Participate as an experienced partner in the Nordic Agile Release Trains and development planning
• Responsible for delivering a secure and robust Operational Data Store that supports Santander development teams

Your qualifications

• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience within IT product development
• You have hands-on experience working with agile development practices
• You have hands-on experience with implementation of technical integration architecture, master data management and near-real-time data solutions
• You have experience with change management and iterative/emergent architecture

The academic

• You have a higher education in IT and/or Data Management
• Great knowledge of Scrum or other agile methods
• Extensive knowledge of technical integration architecture (API and data), master data management and operational data storage
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and services
• Ability to understand complex business and technical issues
• Ability to motivate stakeholders and team members
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
