We have two open positions in our department. As our new Scientific Publication Manager or Senior Scientific Publications Manager you will lead the planning of key clinical trials publications. You must therefore have excellent strategic and interpersonal skills, a great interest in scientific communication, and you should thrive and be motivated by interacting with key opinion leaders in a dynamic working environment. About the positions As our new Scientific Publication Manager, you will: Develop publication strategies and develop and execute publication plans Develop budgets and timelines, and manage agency vendors to deliver to target Work closely with external healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and internal stakeholders throughout the organisation Explore and enable the use of new formats such as infographics, podcasts, and videos, use and reuse in new channels such as own scientific exchange platform and social media, as well as Multi Channel Engagement tactics. Ensure adherence to ethical and transparency standards and guidelines as an ambassador for Good Publication Practice In addition to the above, our new Senior Scientific Publications Manager will: Demonstrate leadership by independently undertaking senior tasks and deliverables, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation Work closely with the Director, Scientific Publications to plan and provide training and guidance for the team and for internal stakeholders Act as an ambassador for all Novo Nordisk publication principles, procedures, and processes For either position, success is contingent upon your ability to combine your knowledge and experience with outstanding interpersonal skills. Your qualifications We expect you to have: A relevant master’s degree Publications management/Scientific communications experience in pharma, publishing, medical communications or similar (1-4 years for Senior position) Project management experience Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with successful outcomes Strong communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English You also must have an interest in: The ethics of scientific communication New ways of conveying science: new formats, new channels, and how to connect it all On a personal level, you will have the ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment. We are looking for a forward-thinking and innovative person to help develop and improve processes related to publication planning. About the department The Scientific Publications team is anchored in Global Medical Affairs (GMA), responsible for publishing scientific research across all drug development phases. We are looking for publication professionals to join the Scientific Publications team in the company headquarters in Søborg (Copenhagen), Denmark.
