OUR CLIENTS
The Karlsberg and the Warsteiner Groups - two successful, owner-managed beverage companies with a combined sales volume of almost 1 billion - have partnered to bundle their purchasing activities. The position of Managing Director (m/f/d) has been created for the development of the newly founded company and will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging, technology, energy and logistics services.
YOUR NEW ROLE
• You will play a key role in shaping the company's vision, mission and strategy
• You will build up a modern, needs-based and effective purchasing organization with a competent team
• You will ensure the availability of materials through proactive supplier management and relevant contracts
• You will enable a solid network between the procurement company and the operative procurement functions of the shareholder companies
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• You have several years of experience in a leading management position in the food sector including purchasing responsibility and you have mastered the keyboard of global sourcing in an industrial company
• You know the procurement markets, particularly in the area of raw materials, and you have a good network
• You have experience in following up on change processes and you enjoy development tasks
• You are a self-confident personality with an entrepreneurial mind-set who acts independently, and you have a convincing manner with very good communication skills (German and English) and a positive attitude
